Hi Guys!I'm looking for a reputable website that offers remote international IT jobs.
HOW DO YOU TURN OFF SCROLL LOCK IN EXCEL IN WINDOWS 7 INSTALL
so image her desktop, reset Windows, install office and then before anything else, test the same files again. Perhaps once you are unable to duplicate the issue with another computer, then it can't be an Excel issue.
HOW DO YOU TURN OFF SCROLL LOCK IN EXCEL IN WINDOWS 7 DRIVER
it might be something file specific or computer specific or driver specific. I guess you can try and isolate the issue by either setting up a virtual (or physical) machine and having the user remote to another computer with Excel and see if she can duplicate the issue or if it is isolated to the computer she is using. here's another one with some possible remedies: yeah, I noticed you posted on that forum as well. I also checked the file visual and macros and found none running for this one file we saw this on.Īnyone have any other ideas? I found a technet topic from 2015 up to a few weeks ago on this issue with different office versions and seems microsoft doesn't care so wondering if anyone else have any ideas? Only other solution/workaround is to switch from one excel worksheet and back as another worksheet in the same file isn't affect and switching back seems to negate the issue for some time. I tried the "scrolllock is on" technique but that didn't do anything (trying to turn it on/off on both her keyboard and using the virtual keyboard). However issue popup again as she called and saying it happening and left it opened so we can see it. We heard about this a few weeks ago from her and we went and tried to reinstalled the office suite by uninstalling, reinstalling and updating to latest version. She telling us her arrow keys would stop working randomly on random excel files when she working on them and she forced to closed and reopened the document. We have a client that has office 2016 on Windows 7 Desktop.
